PURPOSE: An endoscope diagonal system and a controlling method thereof are provided to convert input images of an endoscope to desired data and display and store the converted data by using an external processing device and a CPU. CONSTITUTION: An affected part is lit up with a lighting apparatus installed in the inside of an endoscope(100) when the endoscope(100) is inserted into a body of a patient. An image of the affected part is inputted into an internal camera of the endoscope(100) by using a group of lens installed in the inside of the camera. The image of the affected part is converted to an electric video signal by the internal camera of the endoscope(100). The electric video signal is inputted into one of plural data processing devices(101,102,103). An internal capture board captures the affected part image as divided images of N number and generates a frame capture signal. A CPU(104) receives the frame capture signal and outputs the frame capture signal according to a control signal. The CPU(104) outputs the captured image according to an operation of a color video printer(108). A plurality of monitors(105,106,107) is used for displaying the frame capture signal. A data storage portion(109) is connected with the monitors(105,106,107).
