<p>Sizing agents for finishing, and opt, dyeing nat./regen. cellulosic and synthetic fibres consist of the reaction products of starch with ortho-and/or polyphosphates, these agents being dried without stiffening, and then heathed at 150-170 deg.C. The sizing agents give better results than conventional sizing agents, such as potato starch, as the viscosity of the agent does not alter during affliction also, the agents do not require enzymatic degradation, after the weaving operations.</p> |
