PURPOSE: To provide a motor and a brush device by which brush holders can be incorporated very easily. CONSTITUTION: These motor 30 and brush device brush holders 9 and 10. Fixed parts 9a an 10a fixed to a gear case 2 by compression and brush housings 9b and 10b holding brushes slidably are integrally formed. In the gear case 2, a deceleration mechanism housing unit 2f containing a deceleration mechanism is formed and has a brush holder attaching part 2c to which the brush holders 9 and 10 can be attached in an axial direction of an output shaft 12 and which is integrally formed with the gear case 2.
