PURPOSE: A process of preparing a medicinal pill by mixing fruits of Hovenia dulcis var. koreana Nakai as a main material with bamboo salt, Puerariae radix, Glycyrrhizae Radix and glutinous rice in a specified ratio is provided. Whereby, the pill has preventing effects for drunken sickness and hangover and is excellent in palatability and low in the possibility of deterioration. CONSTITUTION: About 60% by weight of fruits of Hovenia dulcis var. koreana Nakai, 20% by weight of bamboo salt, 10% by weight of Puerariae radix, 3% by weight of Glycyrrhizae Radix and 7% by weight of glutinous rice are soaked respectively in water, dried, mixed except for glutinous rice and then ground. The mixture is mixed with separately ground glutinous rice, kneaded with water and then made into a pill with a size of 2 to 4mm.
