PURPOSE: A computer system and its booting method is provided to prevent the computer system from being accessed in a booting process without other specific hardware, and to load and execute a specific program before an OS(Operating System) is executed. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of a BIOS(Basic Input Output System) performing a POST(Power On Self Test) if a computer system is switched on(S310), the BIOS loading at a main memory an MBR(Master Boot Record) including application program boot loader loading codes for loading and executing an application program loader(S312), the MBR loading and executing an application program loader(S314), the application program loader receiving a control authority of the computer system and searching for an application program(S316), the application program loader loading and executing the application program if the application program is found(S318, S320), the application program receiving a control authority and performing corresponding operations. for example, recognizing a fingerprint, if the application program is executed(S320), the application program loader receiving a control authority if the application program is normally completed(S322), the application program loader loading at a main memory a conventional MBR stored at other position of a disk(S324), the conventional MBR executing OS boot loader loading codes(S324), the OS boot loader loading codes executing an OS loader, loading and executing an OS kernel at the main memory, and moving the control authority to the OS(S326, S328, S330).
