SKIMMER APPARATUS WITH IMPROVED FLOATING MATTER REMOVAL EFFICIENCY

PURPOSE: A skimmer apparatus is provided to effectively remove a more large amount of floating matter by expanding a contact area between the floating matter and an iron band of the apparatus, and to minimize a wash liquid from being contaminated by the floating matter. CONSTITUTION: The skimmer apparatus comprises an iron band(10) fastened between an upper driving wheel(12) located over a wash liquid of a wash tank and a lower wheel(14); a driving member(30) installed to be moved up and down about a center axis between the wheels by using an eccentric cam(32) installed to a driving shaft(12a) of the driving wheel; and an iron band guide member(50) connected to the iron band to vary its track transfer width according to the rotation of a rotary member(52) thereof.
