To obtain a laminated packaging material for snacks, printing (2) was performed with water based printing inks onto a base film (1) comprising a bi-axial oriented polypropylene film (20 mu m). An intermediate layer base film (3) comprising a polyester film (12 mu m) with aluminium deposited thereon forming a gas barrier and a heat sealable film (4) comprising a non stretched polypropylene film (20 mu m) were laminated on the base film (1) by inline extrusion lamination with a polarising resin (5) (10 mu m) for lamination not requiring any anchor coating agent due to polarising.
