PURPOSE: A toilet bowl is provided to achieve an ultraviolet sterilizing effect of a bowl cover, to make the bowl cover automatically rotated up and down according to the sex or use the purpose of a user, thus improving the convenience of use and the cleanliness degree thereof. CONSTITUTION: The toilet bowl is comprised of a driving device for rotating a bowl cover(50); a controller for controlling the operation of the driving device on the basis of signals input from a sensor; and a sterilizing lamp(40) connected to the driving device by interposing a transmission device to irradiate ultraviolet rays to the upper side of the bowl cover and formed with a reflecting part for limiting a direction of the ultraviolet rays into only one direction.
