<p>A turbine blade having a cooled shroud comprises a blade attachment portion and a radially extended turbine airfoil (12) integral with the blade attachment portion. The turbine airfoil (12) has a plurality of cooling passages (16). A tip shroud (20) is affixed to a top portion of the airfoil (12), the tip shroud (20) having a plurality of circumferential cooling channels (24) disposed substantially parallel to the rotation of the airfoil (12). Each circumferential cooling channel (24) is in communication with a respective cooling passage (16) and at least one exit port (26) is in communication with at least one of the circumferential cooling channels (24). <IMAGE></p> |
