PURPOSE: A mobile information terminal is provided to extend a display area on an information terminal by mounting a liquid crystal display unit in a cover and mounting a touch panel for a display and an input in a main body. CONSTITUTION: The first liquid crystal display unit(11) displays memorized information. The second liquid crystal display unit(12a) displays memorized information with the first liquid crystal display unit(11), extends a screen, displays an icon, a main screen, or a keypad for inputting information, and forms a touch panel. An input unit(12b) senses a touch of the icon, the main screen, or the keypad displayed on the second liquid crystal display unit(12a) and forms the touch panel. A liquid crystal input/output control unit(16) controls an information display of the first liquid crystal display unit(11) and the second liquid crystal display unit(12a). A microcomputer(17) senses information being inputted through the input unit(12b), and controls the liquid crystal input/output control unit(16) and an information display of two screens. A modem(18) is controlled by the microcomputer(17) and executes an information input/output through a telephone line. A cellular module(19) is connected between the modem(18), controlled by the microcomputer(17), and the telephone line and executes a transmission/receipt of a wireless telephone. A decoder(21) decodes a receiving signal of a wireless call receiver, executes a comparison with a subscriber ID, and controls a call. A pager transmission/receipt unit(22) is connected to the decoder(21) and transmits/receives a call signal of the wireless call receiver.
