PURPOSE: A gantry crane is provided to minimize the movement distance of a worker by making a trolley move from the upper portion of a ship to the upper portion of a virtual terminal, to remove the probability of an accident by assembling and disassembling a cone on the virtual terminal, and to promptly perform container loading and unloading. CONSTITUTION: A trolley(5) for transferring and lifting a spreader(6) and an operation chamber(9) are driven respectively. A worker in the operation room only moves on the upper portion of a ship, and the movement distance of the worker is minimized. A virtual terminal(11) more than one stage having a guide hopper(10) is prepared in the middle of a support(3). In loading from a trailer(12) to a ship(13) and unloading from the ship to the trailer, containers(14) are supplied smoothly. The assembling and disassembling of a cone for interconnecting the upper and lower containers are performed conveniently.
