SIDE TRIMMER HAVING VARIABLE TYPE RUBBER RING

PURPOSE: A side trimmer having a variable type rubber ring is provided to prevent marks or inflection formed on the surface of a strip during side trimming by expanding or contracting one rubber ring depending on thickness of the strip during side trimming of the strip. CONSTITUTION: The side trimmer having a variable type rubber ring comprises a knife member(20) which is mounted on a driving shaft(4) of an equipment driving part(2) to cut the edge of a strip(10); a rubber member(30) which is arranged at one side of the knife member(20) and supports the strip(10); first segment means(40) which is fixed to the inner side of the rubber member(30) to contract or expand the rubber member(30); and second segment means(70) which is fixed onto first and second fixing plates(50,60) mounted on the driving shaft(4) so that the second segment means(70) is contracted or expanded when the second segment means(70) is operated to the inner side of the first segment means(40), wherein the rubber member(30) is formed in a variable type so that it is contracted or expanded.
