PURPOSE: A tap forming device is provided to allow a worker to rapidly check whether a tapping work is normally carried out by checking a vertical/horizontal position of a tap when the tapping work is carried out. CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical case is buried in an upper portion of a tap forming device. The cylindrical case is filled with predetermined liquid. Moving members(18), such as air bubbles, are contained in the case. A window made of transparent material is installed at the upper portion of the case. Scale lines(16) are formed in the window. The scale lines(16) cross with each other at a center of the case. Instead of the scale lines(16), it is possible to form a plurality of circles in the window. In this case, the circles have different diameter from each other.
