LIGHT EMITTING DEVICE HAVING MULTIPLE REFLECTION FILMS AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A light emitting device and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve luminous efficiency and to reduce losses of lights emitted to a substrate by using multiple reflection films. CONSTITUTION: An n-type buffer layer(110) is formed on an insulating substrate(100). An n-type electrode(120) and an n-type clad layer(130) are sequentially formed on the buffer layer(110). An active layer(140) is formed on the n-type clad layer(130). A p-type clad layer(150), a capping layer(160) and a p-type electrode(170) are sequentially formed on the resultant structure. Multiple reflection films(210) are formed at rear surface of the insulating substrate(100). The multiple reflection films(210) are repeatedly deposited in-turns on the rear surface of the substrate(100) using a first and a second material selected from the group consisting of SiO2, TiO2, Al2O3 and MgF2.
