PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing basket preventing a user from getting backache by reducing a load on the lumbar when drying or taking in the laundry. SOLUTION: This washing basket storing the laundry is so formed that a handle 3 is formed in an opening edge 2a of a basket body 2 and a hook 3a for hanging and suspending the basket body 2 to a high place of a wash-line pole 5 is integrally formed with the handle 3.
