PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for covering up a washing machine when not used, with a non-oppressive, simple structure. SOLUTION: A storage rack 1 is mounted above a washing machine S. The storage rack 1 is formed of a stainless frame which opens at its front face 1a and a side face 1b and whose bottom 1c is formed by a plurality of horizontally extended bars 2. A roll screen 4 is mounted at the upper portion of the front face by means of brackets 3 and 3 in such a way that it can be pulled down and be automatically retracted by the biasing force of a spring. When a washing machine S is not used, the roll screen 4 is pulled down to cover up the front face of the washing machine S. When the washing machine S is in use, the roll screen 4 can be rolled up and retracted compactly. Supplies such as detergents can be stored in the storage rack 1 and the bars 2 at the bottom 1c can be used as hanger holders.
