PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vegetable transplanting machine capable of accurately conducting a planting operation by taking out a seedling from a tray of a seedling platform with a seedling taking-out claw, and properly receiving the seedling with a seedling planting claw. SOLUTION: This vegetable transplanting machine has the seedling planting claw of aperture type 25 which plants a farm field with the seedling N taken out from the seedling tray 22 of the seedling platform 21, wherein the seedling planting claw 25 has a seedling receiving cylinder 38 which receives the seedling from the seedling tray 22 and downward guides the seedling, and further has plural aperture claws 40 which are each arranged outside the seedling receiving cylinder 38 to be freely slid in the vertical direction, so that the seedling N is planted with the aperture claws 40 which are made to be opened and closed by vertically sliding the aperture claws 40.
