PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently clean plastic pieces at a low cost. SOLUTION: The plastic piece cleaning apparatus is equipped with a cylindrical casing 1 arranged in a horizontal direction and having a charging port 2 of plastic pieces formed on one end side thereof and having a discharge port 4 on the other end side thereof, the stirring screw 18 arranged in the casing 1 in a freely rotatable manner, the on-off lid 6 arranged to the discharge port 4 in a freely openable and closable manner, a pressure means 7 having a weight 7b for energizing the on-off lid 6 in a closing direction to press the plastic pieces in the casing 1 and the pollutant discharge port 12 bored in the casing 1 to discharge the pollutant separated from the plastic pieces.
