PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of forming a double layered coating film having excellent interlamellar adhesive property and weather resistance with excellent anti-blocking property and freeze-thaw resistance. SOLUTION: The method of forming the double layered coating film is performed by applying a color undercoating coating material containing an acrylic copolymer (A), which is obtained by copolymerizing 10-50 wt.%α,β-unsaturated monomer (a) having cyclohexyl group with 50-90 wt.% anotherα,β-unsaturated monomer (b) copolymerizable with the monomer (a), as an essential coating film component on the surface of a base material and drying to form a coating film and applying a transparent top coating material containing an acrylic copolymer (B), which is obtained by copolymerizing 20-75 wt.%α,β-unsaturated monomer (a) having cyclohexyl group with 25-80 wt.% anotherα,β-unsaturated monomer (b) copolymerizable with the monomer (a), as an essential coating film component on the surface of the color undercoating film.
