PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attach a detachable extending tool to a pull tab sold on the market capable of widening its own width. SOLUTION: The extending tool consists of a string part 10 to which a hook and loop fastener 11 is attached, and a main body part 20 for storing both ends 12 and 13 of the string part. One end 12 of the string part is fixed to the main body part. Preferably, a stopper 21 is attached to the end of the main body part, and a widening part 30 whose position is fixed by the stopper 21 is formed. As the width of the main body part can be extended arbitrarily by the widening part, the widening part can be used as an eye-catcher with characters or photographs printed in the part.
