PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to pile up seedling transport cages containing pot seedling boxes with vertically bringing their narrow sides to each other. SOLUTION: This seedling box-transporting cage is constituted of an almost rectangular opening frame for putting in and out pot seedling boxes, plural vertical frames 12, 13 for loading each pot seedling box in parallel and a bottom frame 14 to which the rear ends of the pot seedling boxes are contacting. Each frame 12, 13 has a pair of reentrant shoulders each of which is fixed to the long side 15 of the opening frame and arms successively heading downward and horizontal connection units 19, 23 for connecting the lower ends of the both arms. The open frame has protruded parts 16a formed by protruding narrow sides outward. When the seedling box-transporting cages are piled up, the protruded parts 16a of the lower seedling box-transporting cage engages with the space between the shoulders of the vertical frame 13 to protect lateral displacements of the upper seedling box-transporting cage.
