METHOD FOR KNEADING AMORPHOUS RESIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an extrusion method not generating lowering of physical properties of an amorphous resin caused by deterioration of the resin stagnating in a die part when the amorphous resin or a composition containing the same is extruded. SOLUTION: The amorphous resin of 100 pts.wt. or the composition containing the same as a matrix of 100 pts.wt. is melted and kneaded under a condition of dimensionless extrusion quantity DLQ=0.004-0.025 and the number of rotations of 50-1,500 rpm using a twin-screw unidirectional rotary extruder and the molten resin or composition is extruded under such a condition that the temperature T of the resin at the outlet of a die plate is the glass transition point of the amorphous resin +60-260 deg.C and the mean retention time(t) of the die part is 3-45 sec.
