PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of efficiently manufacturing rubber roll wherein the bonding strength of a rubber layer to a shaft is high. SOLUTION: An unvulcanized rubber cylindrical body 1 is directly extruded into a cylindrical mold 4 by an extrusion molding machine 10 to be molded and this unvulcanized rubber cylindrical body 1 is expanded to be brought into contact with the inner surface of the mold 4. Subsequently, the shaft 5 is inserted into the unvulcanized rubber cylindrical body 1 to be held at both ends thereof by a holding member 6 and heating is started from the central side of the mold 4 to vulcanize the unvulcanized rubber cylindrical body 1. In order to start heating from the central side of the mold 4, the mold 4 is tumbled on a hot plate 40 having a trapezoidal part 42 gradually widened from the left end 41 thereof to the right and the equal width part 43 continued to the trapezoidal part 42 to reach the right end 44 thereof. |
