PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device which has good attaching or detaching workability to a strut for horticulture and whose lateral rope fixing force for the supporting pole can sufficiently bear to loads added to the lateral rope. SOLUTION: This holder 3 used for fixing the lateral rope 2 for guiding and fixing a plant on the strut 1 for the horticulture comprises the first and second fixing arms 3a, 3b to be fit to the vertically separated positions of the strut 1 from the mutually approximately opposite direction, a connection portion 3c for connecting both the fixing arms 3a, 3b in the guide distance 4 of the strut 1, and outward projecting a fixing member 3d for fixing the lateral rope 2.
