PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and safely bring up/down a load to/from a high shelf with small force without using a stepladder, etc. SOLUTION: A parent rod 1, an intermediate joint 3, and a shelf 4 are connected with bars 2 and pins to form multiple joints of parallel links. The parent rod is fixed to an existing article for allowing the shelf to move upward/ downward. Since a string 5 is attached to the intermediate joint and a weight 6 is hung from the top of the string via a pulley 7, the shelf can be moved upward/downward with small force. When the shelf is located upward, the shelf is put on brackets 8 and horizontally pulled by the string, and therefore, the shelf will not fall down. When the shelf is brought down, the shelf is pulled forward and the shelf is detached from the brackets to be brought down. Moreover, since the stroke is large because of the multiple joints, the shelf located higher than the head of a user can be brought down to the height of the hip of the user.
