PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven wheelchair which is compact and is improved in appearance. SOLUTION: The motor-driven wheelchair comprises a pair of right and left frames. The wheelchair is constituted foldably toward an inside in a width direction. The wheelchair comprises a pair of right and left drive wheels 8L at the lower rear parts of the frames, power units 13L containing electric motors 12L, provided at the insides of the wheels 8L. The wheels 8L are axially mounted at a rear wheel shaft 23 projected from the unit 13L toward the outside of the wheelchair in the width direction. The wheels 8L each has a hub 36, a tire 37, spokes 39 provided under tension between the rib 38 and the hub 36 of the tire 37, a boss 41 for clamping the hub 35 at the shaft 23, a cover 42 formed on the outer peripheral edge of the boss 41. In this case, the cover 42 is formed in a cup-like state covering the unit 13L from the outside.
