PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desk mat made from an acrylic soft resin providing for the trace restorability of handwriting. SOLUTION: The desk mat has an acrylic soft resin layer containing a plasticizer of 5 to 15 wt.% with a molecular weight of 400 or more for the acrylic soft resin. Preferably, the acrylic soft resin layer exists on the uppermost layer of the desk mat. Preferably, the acrylic soft resin layer further contains fatty acid amide and/or metallic soap of 0.1 to 3.0 wt.% for the acrylic soft resin. Preferably, at least the lowermost layer of the desk mat is the acrylic soft resin layer containing fatty acid amide and/or metallic soap of 0.1 to 3.0 wt.% for the acrylic soft resin. Preferably, in addition to the amide and/or metallic soap, the layer contains an oxidation inhibitor of 0.1 to 2.0 wt.% for the acrylic soft resin. Preferably, a hardenable resin layer is provided on the surface of at least one side of the desk mat.
