PHOTOCATALYTIC REACTION APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR EXCHANGING LIGHT SOURCE IN THIS APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalytic reaction apparatus of a top hanging type to be installed at a ceiling surface and with which the work to replace light sources can be safely, simply and efficiently carried out. SOLUTION: This photocatalytic reaction apparatus of the top hanging type is constituted by housing photocatalyst units whose top surface is incised to a continuous groove form in a longitudinal direction and the light sources of a straight tube type in an apparatus casing in such a manner that the light sources are arranged within the incised groove segments of the photocatalyst units. The under surface of the casing are made freely openable and closable to allow free drawing out of the photocatalyst units from the inside to the outside of the casing and at least one surface among the peripheral surface of the casing is made freely openable and closable.
