PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite material molding comprising a thermoplastic resin and a vegetable filler which can develop a woody feel and a method for producing the molding easily. SOLUTION: In the composite material molding, an inner layer in which 50-90 wt.% of the vegetable filler is mixed uniformly with the thermoplastic resin is covered with an outer layer of a thermoplastic resin of the same kind with the resin of the inner layer which is expanded in an expansion ratio of 1.05-2.0. In the method for producing the composite material molding, a uniform mixture of the thermoplastic resin and the vegetable filler is solidified and extrusion-molded to form the inner layer, and then only the surface of the inner layer is melted to cover the outer layer, while a portion of the thermoplastic resin of the same kind with the resin of the inner layer is extruded and foamed on the melted surface of the inner layer by another extruder. |
