PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a top board and a method of manufacturing the same to be easily manufactured by facilitating the attaching of decorative members to the top board main body, capable of preventing deterioration of the design due to the attaching condition of the decorative members. SOLUTION: A top board 11 has a top board body 15 consisting of a rectangular-shaped main top board 12, an auxiliary top board 13 in the same rectangular shape as the main top board 12, and a reinforcing member 14 inserted between them, and a decorative member 16 is attached to each corner of the top board body 15. In the top board 11, the reinforcing member 14 and the auxiliary top board 13 are disposed inside side walls 12a of the main top board 12. The inside structure of the top board body 15 cannot be visually recognized because of the decorative members 16 and the side walls 12a.
