PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for correcting the permanent wind deformation of a fishing line. SOLUTION: The tool is a heating device produced by connecting a dry battery 1, a power switch 2 and a heater 3 and mounting the assembly in a holder 4. A heat-resistant member 5 of the heater 3 is exposed on a surface of the holder 4. A clipping piece 6 is placed close to the heater 3 in a manner opposite to the heat-resistant member and enabling free contact by pressing. A terminal 7 of the clipping piece 6 constantly presses the deformed fishing line A toward the heating face 3a of the heater 3 by the elastic force of a spring through a supporting shaft 8. The fishing line is clamped between the heating face 3a of the heater 3 and the terminal 7 of the clipping piece 6. The permanent deformation of the coil-formed line A is corrected to a straight line A' by straightly pulling the line contacting with the heating face 3a of the heater 3 after closing the power switch 2 of the heater 3 by the user.
