PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety rope for work at an elevated spot with which workability and safety can be improved. SOLUTION: A buffering ring 20 having a plurality of bending parts for buffering impact force by extension of each of the bending parts is provided between the rope 11 which is U-shaped when connected to a safety belt for the work at an elevated spot and vertically moving safety device 30 which is formed movably along a guide rail and holds the guide rail when tensile load is imparted. Thus, the workability and the safety are improved.
