PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stretching device which can be used even by an elderly person without anxiety by improving safety and easily varying the inclination of step boards. SOLUTION: In the stretching device 10 provided with a base stand 12, a single support 16 erected at the base stand 12 and provided with a handle at its top and the step boards 13 tilting with respect to the base stand 1, the front ends 141 of the boards 14 are locked rotatably with the support 16 through a locking member 20 and the inclination of the step boards is adjusted by changing the locking height. In particular, the locking height is changed through the sliding of the member 20 along the support 16 or the rotation of one of the member 20 and the support 16 screwed to each other or the combination of a rack (86) provided at the support 16 and a pinion (92) provided at the member 20. In particular, the support 16 is made to be extensible and foldable to be in contact with the base stand 12.
