PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet head and a method of making the same wherein the liquid jet head that has a structure with a high rigidity and is capable of being adopted to any type of substrate material can be produced by a simple process. SOLUTION: After a molding agent resin 4 to be a liquid passage 22 and a covering resin 5 to be a structure material for a passage groove wall and the like are formed on a substrate 1a having an ejection energy generating element 2, a slit type long hole 8 penetrating the substrate 1a is formed from the rear side of the substrate 1a by a cutting process or an etching process. The slit type long hole 8 is filled with a removable resin 12 from the rear side of the substrate 1a and an ink-resistance resin 13 is applied to the removable resin 12. A plurality of holes 14 penetrating the ink-resistance resin 13 to the removable resin 12 from the rear side of the substrate 1a are formed by emission of a laser light or a mechanical process. After that, the removable resin 12 and the molding agent resin 4 are removed to form the liquid jet head having a first liquid supply hole 20 and a second liquid supply hole 21 consisting of the plurality of holes 14.
