PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door temporarily holding structure of a mailbox for preventing incorrect opening-closing work of a takeout door, and preventing damage of the takeout door by simplifying the opening-closing work of a takeout port of the takeout door. SOLUTION: An upper part of a takeout door 4 for opening and closing a takeout port 3 is pivoted on both side walls 1a of a mailbox 1 so as to be vertically freely rotatable. A temporarily fixing means is provided for temporarily fixing the takeout door 4 in a state of opening the takeout port 3. The temporarily fixing means is composed of a fitting hole 5 and a ball 6 energized in the fitting hole inserting direction, and the ball 6 is inserted into the fitting hole 5 when the takeout door 4 opens the takeout port 3. The ball 6 is arranged in one of the takeout door 4 or the mailbox side walls 1a, and the fitting hole 5 is arranged in the other. |
