PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sun visor for vehicle which is free from wrinkles, slackness, etc., on a skin covered on a body surface, and excellent in design, and a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: The sun visor 1 for vehicle comprises a sun visor body 2 and the skin 7 covered on an outer surface of the sun visor body 2. The sun visor body 2 comprises a pair of slightly rigid shape holding plates 8a and 8b obtained by foaming beads of polypropylene, and an elastic body 9 held between the pair of shape holding plates 8a and 8b. The elastic body 9 is formed of a slightly elastic material such as urethane foam, and the pair of shape holding plates 8a and 8b are energized toward an inner surface of the skin 7 by the repulsive force based on the elastic deformation of the elastic body 9.
