PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress power consumption of its own terminal equipment by switching the control part of its own terminal equipment to a low power consumption mode when another terminal equipment connected on the same bus of an ISDN line is under operation and communicating without relation to its own terminal equipment. SOLUTION: This equipment is provided with an INFO zero detection part 10 detecting the INFO zero state of the ISDN line 3, a net control part 4a executing communication control, a central control part 6a controlling the whole of the line terminal equipment 1A and capable of switching to the low power consumption mode and a switching switch 9 switching an input from the ISDN line 3 to the detection part 10 or a network control part 4. At the time of communication without relation to its own terminal equipment, the central control part 6a is switched to the low power consumption mode and at the time of detecting an INFO zero state, the switch 9 is switched to the net control part 4a to make the line terminal equipment 1A wait in the low power consumption mode. |
