摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep an ink-coating amount constant and to enable efficient coating in which double coating is made scarcely by forming the tip part of a needle into a tapered shape having length unaffecting surface tension of ink in a defect correction device for correcting the stripping part of a color filter by coating a defective part with ink adhering to the needle. SOLUTION: The ink coating mechanism of the defect correction device is constituted of a needle 1 for coating ink and an actuator for positioning by which the needle 1 is driven in the vertical direction. The tip of the needle 1 is flat the cross section thereof is a rectangle and is formed into such a form that the cross section is gradually enlarged along the axial direction of the needle 1. Thereby, when the needle 1 is immersed in an ink vessel and thereafter pulled up, ink adheres on the surface. But, the bank 30 of ink is generated on the upper part of the tapered part by surface tension and the tip of the needle 1 is exposed. In such a way, when ink is allowed to adhere, the tip part is exposed and thereby coated ink weight is maintained at constant quantity and correction free from double coat and an uncolored region is performed.
