PURPOSE: A security method for position pursuit and proximity recording and a system thereof are provided to simultaneously control a plurality of cameras and carry out the DVR function and the position pursuit, the proximity photographing, thereby providing the optimum security environment. CONSTITUTION: A security method for position pursuit and proximity recording includes the steps of comparing a capture screen for a real time image input via a camera with a reference screen for an image of a monitoring area of the camera in the change of color, automatically seeking an invading object for controlling a photographing position of the camera which faces the invading object by the color pursuit and motion capture comparison for the invading object of a screen area having the color change if the color change is higher than a set reference value(411), controlling zooming of the camera for carrying out the proximity photographing for the invading object, converting the pursued image input from the camera and the proximity image into a predetermined format until the invading object is not sensed by the color pursuit(437), and advancing the emergency mode for the alarm generating, message transmission and the illumination control due to the appearance of the invading object.
