PURPOSE: A frame synchronization method is provided, which can reduce a bit error rate of transmitted data by maintaining a frame synchronization continuously even though a frame code is generated faster or slower by one bit from a frame period. CONSTITUTION: According to the method, when transmitting data between transceiver systems, the above data is constituted with a number of frames including a frame code(11) and a data field(12) and a surplus bit(13) and then is transmitted through network. A frame search position is determined on the basis of the frame code of the transmitted frame, and a frame signal is judged by comparing the frame start point with the frame search position. If the frame start point is generated with the same interval as the frame in the first step, it is judged that a bit slip is not generated, and if the frame start point is occurred before one bit, the position is judged to be a start point of a new frame. If the frame start point is occurred after above one bit, it is judged that a bit is added due to a transmission error.
