SUBSTANCE: method includes interval sampling of drilling cuttings in investigated borehole and core in reference borehole with relation to depth; preparation of samples of core and drilling cuttings; determination of values of sample optical densities on characteristic absorption bands on the same wave lengths; additional determination of values of relative drilling parameter in investigated and reference boreholes; construction of reference relation ratios of optical densities of core samples and relative drilling parameter in reference borehole with determination of rock lithological type by borehole lithological log; subdivision of borehole lithological log into lithological types by values of optical densities of drilling cuttings and values of relative drilling parameter in investigated borehole by reference relation. EFFECT: higher accuracy and rate of investigation due to complex consideration of physico-chemical composition of rock and its mechanical properties on basis of data on detailed mechanical logging directly in drilling process. 1 dwg
