SUBSTANCE: method involves wetting ahnfeltia in water; adding milk of lime; removing solution; withdrawing agar from ahnfeltia in battery composed of three autoclaves by seven-stage counterflow cooking under pressure of 0.8-8.0 atm, with first and second cooking stages being performed through increasing initial pressure by 1.2 atm with further increasing of pressure by 1 atm at each subsequent cooking stage; directing second cooking broth to first cooking stage; adding milk of lime to broth during second, third and fourth cooking stages; adding water having temperature of 55-99 C to froth during fifth and each subsequent cooking stages; upon completion of cooking procedure, directing resultant solution to filter to provide for separation and gelling of solution and producing jelly; separating moisture; performing repeated separation followed with jelly boiling and drying to powdered state. EFFECT: reduced power consumption, improved quality of agar and increased yield of useful products per unit of raw material. 3 cl, 1 ex |
