PURPOSE: To provide multistage press equipment which is capable of carrying carrier plates in and out in the state of floating the carrier plate from hot plates and allows the compact formation of the interior of a chamber. CONSTITUTION: A pair of first floating bars 9a for supporting both sides of first hot plates 4a are hangingly disposed on both sides of the hot plates 4t installed at a stationary platen 3 and a pair of the floating bars 9b to 9f are successively hangingly disposed below a pair of these floating bars. The carrier plates on which materials to be laminated are placed are supported in the state of floating the carrier plates from the respective hot plates 4a to 4f supported by a pair of the floating bars. The multistage press equipment 1 which is capable of carrying the carrier plates in and out in the state of floating the carrier pates from the respective hot plates and is formed compact in the chamber can be provided by constituting the equipment in the manner described above.
