METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING COMPRESSOR CASE OF AIR CONDITIONER

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing compressor case of air conditioner is provided to reduce defective proportion of welding. CONSTITUTION: A lower part of a metal tube(1) cut by regular length is gradually shrunk by rotating semicircular metal mold or a rotating chuck to form a narrow hole(101). A cover(2) and a bracket(3) are integrally formed. The cover is placed on the narrow hole of the metal tube and welded. Deformation of the metal tube is reduced as only the lower part of the metal tube is welded. The welded part is hidden to improve appearance. Vibration and noise generated by a compressor case is reduced as the lower part of the metal tube is thickened.
