PURPOSE: A device for controlling watering amount depending on the carrying capacity of the load on a belt is provided to variably control the watering amount corresponding to the change of the carrying capacity of the load on a belt and to simultaneously perform the beginning of watering and the finishing of watering with the starting and finishing of material transportation. CONSTITUTION: A device for controlling watering amount depending on the carrying capacity of the load on a belt comprises a body part(10) and a control part(30). The body part comprises a weight roll(11), a vertical shaft(12), upper and lower plates(14), a spring member(15), and a support(16). The weight roll is horizontally placed in the lower portion of a belt(2) to contact the lower face of the belt for carrying a material. Both ends of the weight roll are idly installed on the lower end of the vertical shaft. The control part comprises a hose member for supplying water into a watering pipe(6), a watering valve(33) having a lever(33a) for controlling opening, a manual valve(38), and a motor-driven valve(39). By slowly turning the lever in the opening direction, watering amount is controlled automatically depending on the amount of the material on the belt.
