PURPOSE: An advertising method using a character combined with advertising pieces is provided to display the inherent character combined with the advertising pieces on a mobile communication terminal, and to transmit the inherent character to other mobile communication terminals or other communication apparatuses during voice or video speech. CONSTITUTION: A mobile communication terminal connects with a service provider system(S110). A character module provides a screen for selecting partial character images to the mobile communication terminal(S122). A user selects partial images sequentially(S124). The character module combines each partial character image to create an inherent character(S126). The character module stores the inherent character in a character DB(S128). An advertising image insertion module provides the user terminal with a screen for combining advertising pieces with the inherent character(S132). The user selects desiring advertising pieces for each part(S134). The advertising image insertion module combines the inherent character with the advertising pieces(S136). The character combined with the advertising pieces is stored in a character DB(S138). A character transmission module transmits the character combined with the advertising pieces to the mobile communication terminal(S140). And the mobile communication terminal stores the transmitted character and displays the stored character(S150).
