METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR RECYCLING WASTE BUILDING MATERIALS

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for recycling waste building materials are provided to obtain desiredly sized gravels by crushing the waste building materials and recycle the waste building materials by sorting and separating cement contained sand. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for recycling waste building materials comprises transfer means that is installed at a discharge port of a hopper(14) into which concrete reinforcing bar removed waste building materials are injected to transfer a certain amount of waste building materials; first crusher(20) into which the waste building materials transferred by the transfer means are injected to crush them to a certain size or less; first sorter(40) for separating and sorting the waste building materials crushed in the first crusher to an appropriate size; second crusher(60) into which the waste building materials transferred by the transfer means are injected to crush them to a certain size after transferring the waste building materials that are not sorted in the first crusher(20) to the second crusher by the transfer means; second sorter(70) for separating and sorting the waste building materials that are crushed in the second crusher(60) to an appropriate size; and a sand unit equipped with a water reserve tower(82) into which certain sized waste building materials sorted in the first and second sorters and aggregate having a certain grain size are injected to be classified into aggregate having low and high specific gravities so that settled aggregate having high specific gravity is transferred for recycling by a conveyor belt while floated materials having low specific gravity are collected by a collection fan equipped with a propeller.
