SENSOR STRUCTURE FOR PORTABLE PULSIMETER

PURPOSE: A sensor structure for a portable pulsimeter is provided to increase the accuracy of taking-pulse by employing a semi-solid silicon gel for use in the transmission of pressure. CONSTITUTION: A pressure sensing unit(10b) and a semi-solid silicon gel(12) are provided on a sensor body(11). The semi-solid silicon gel(12) is placed on the surface of the pressure sensing unit(10b) and detects the pressure and cycle of blood stream flowing a human body through a blood vessel. The semi-solid gel(12) transmits the detected pressure and cycle of blood stream to the pressure sensing unit(10b). A supporting plate(13) adjusts a distance between the human body and the semi-solid gel(12) on the sensor body(11). The supporting plate(13) is provided with a silicon through hole(13a).
