PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of continuously assuring a stable power generating state by controlling the recovery of condensed water according to the humidity of the atmosphere to establish the balance of water. SOLUTION: A stack 1 forming a fuel cell body comprises a fuel electrode 2 and an air electrode 3. A humidifier 4 humidifies air supplied to the air electrode 3, and an atmosphere humidity detector 5 detects the humidity of the atmosphere supplied to the humidifier 4. A condensed water recovering device 6 condenses water content in hot discharged air gas discharged from the air electrode 3, and supplies the condensed water to the humidifier 4 through a water feed route 8. A condensed water amount regulator 7 regulates the condensed water amount recovered by the condensed water recovering device 6 according to the magnitude of the atmospheric humidity detected by the atmosphere humidity detector 5 to prevent humidifying water from being shorted in the humidifier 4 so as to establish the balance of water. |
