PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print an image where an image with many black parts and an image with less black parts coexist, in high quality, that is, to make obtainable an appropriate developing density in accordance with the black ratio of the image by controlling the flowing developer quantity in accordance with the toner-sticking area on a white paper ratio of the image to be recorded and developing the image, and also, to keep the toner concentration in the developer constant in the midst of developing, and to cope with a rapid image change. SOLUTION: An electrophotographic developing machine using two-component electrophotographic developer constituted of toner and carrier, is provided with a movable doctor blade for controlling the flow of the developer and an actuator for adjusting the gap between the doctor blade and a developing roller, and the gap is adjusted in accordance with the ratio of the black part in the image to be recorded. |
